Bottom line, I just love drawing elegant ladies.

IF--Breezy

I'm going to New York this week, and I'm not going to have the time to do anything for Digital Illustration this week unless I do it now. So, I went ahead and made an image for this week's word, "Breezy."
I really enjoyed making this piece. I love the colors, the design, the concept, and some of the linework I think is nice. And I think that's the first time I've drawn water that even looks semi-attractive. I put a lot of heart into this piece, and I really love the result.
Hope Bro. Fransen is doing better!

I never liked Jack. He's gullible, dishonest, avaricious, and by the end of the story he's guilty of manslaughter!
I hope that harp gets him in big trouble.

IF-Pale

"Bluebeard had given her power to roam the entire chateau, except for one room which was always locked. When he had to leave on a voyage, he gave her all the keys to the household, including the key to the forbidden room. As soon as he was gone, she hastened to the room to see what was inside..."

This illustration is based on Charles Perrault's story of Bluebeard. I imagine the heroine as apprehensive and pale as she approaches her husband's hidden secrets.
